Il materiale viene consegnato in una confezione a prova di umidità, pronto per la lavorazione. Massimo contenuto di umidità raccomandato per la migliore processabilità pari a 0,10%. Condizioni tipiche del'essiccatore: temperatura 80°C, punto di rugiada -20 ° C o inferiore, tempo: 2-4 h o più. Per una migliore processabilità evitare shear rate eccessivi e stress termici elevati. Durante l'aggiunta di materiale rimacinato, prestare attenzione per evitare l'assorbimento di umidità e la contaminazione con altri polimeri. Possono verificarsi variazioni di colore e riduzione di proprietà meccaniche che devono sempre essere attentamente monitorate.
